Resort League 2026 North Male Zone Groups Confirmed
The official draw for the Resort League 2026 North Male Zone has been completed, with 15 teams divided into four groups ahead of the league's kickoff on 10 September 2026 at Bandos Maldives.
Groups A, B and C each feature four teams, while Group D consists of three teams. The North Male Zone will run from 10 to 27 September 2026, with Bandos hosting the zone for the first time.

Host team Bandos were drawn into Group B alongside Oaga Art Resort, Ritz-Carlton and Kurumba, while 2022 champions Baros Maldives will begin their campaign from Group A.
Five-Time Champions Bandos Lead the Historical Record
Bandos enter the 2026 edition as the most successful team in Resort League North Male Zone history, with five titles to their name.
Their dominance began with the introduction of the North Male Zone, with Bandos winning the first four editions from 2013 to 2016. They returned to the top in 2024, securing their fifth North Male Zone title.
The 2026 edition therefore carries added significance for Bandos. The five-time champions will be chasing another title while also hosting the North Male Zone for the first time.
Among the former champions competing this year are Baros Maldives, who lifted the North Male Zone title in 2022. Drawn into Group A, Baros will compete alongside Kuda Huraa, Summer Island and Taj Coral Reef.
Familiar Names Absent in 2026
Several teams with a strong history in the North Male Zone will be absent from this year's edition.
One&Only Reethi Rah, who have won the North Male Zone four times and sit just behind Bandos in the historical title record, will not participate this year as the resort is undergoing renovation.
The 2025 champions, Jumeirah Olhahali Island, are also absent from the draw, with the resort closed for renovation.
Another familiar name missing this year is VARU by Atmosphere, who have previously reached the North Male Zone Final twice, finishing as runners-up on both occasions.
Their absence brings a different look to the 2026 field, while also creating an opportunity for other teams to make their mark on the North Male Zone.
With the draw now complete, five-time champions and hosts Bandos, 2022 champions Baros Maldives, and the rest of the 15-team field will turn their attention to the opening matches.
