As Resort League 2026 Baa Zone got underway on 26 June, Avani+ Fares Maldives Resort once again demonstrated its commitment to delivering a memorable hosting experience for participating teams, officials and supporters.

The opening ceremony was graced by Mohamed Imran, captain of the Maldives national futsal team, who attended as the chief guest and officially declared the Baa Zone open.

Resort Manager Ahmed Naseem, popularly known as Beyya, delivered the welcome address, extending a warm welcome to all participating teams, officials and supporters while expressing the resort's pleasure in hosting the Baa Zone for the second consecutive year.
